The Police will be carrying out a week of action to bolster its commitment to tackling violence and abuse against women and girls (VAWG).
As part of this they will be promoting the Safe Places scheme in Calderdale.
Elland Library is listed as Elland’s Safe Space.
The Safe Place scheme means that busy public places can offer support to vulnerable adults who may need help.
They will be be holding three contact points:
Tuesday 5th March at Specsavers in Brighouse between 4:30-5:30pm.
Wednesday 6th March at Morrisons in Todmorden between 5.00-6.00pm.
Thursday 7th March at Midgley Community Centre between 5.30 – 6.30pm.
